Gold Prospecting Videos

Let's see if this works. This is supposed to be an automated video player for gold prospecting videos. Hopefully they'll toss in some rockhounding and metal detecting videos among the dredging, sluicing, panning, etc, but who knows...?

Please comment below and let me know what it's playing. Like I said, it's supposed to be gold prospecting related.

Nothing about gold prospecting. Various other videos, including one about making jewelry, which was the closest to anything gold related.

I was here to read your blog articles because I have chronic gold fever and am always looking for a cure. Scanning down your blog I see your heading "Gold Prospecting Videos". This is cool. I like prospecting videos. Anyway I saw your comment that reads, "Please comment below and let me know what it's playing."

I see the original image with the arrow suggesting to play the video. However, the image is of a woman holding a container that doesn't look anything like a snuffer bottle or gold vial. I push play anyway. Then, this lady starts on a painful monologue about how she is going to demonstrate how to apply a multi layered eye make-up makeover. I could tell this is wrong. This is nothing I want to watch but I wanted to give you feedback as requested so I continue. After maybe two or three layers of this make-up stuff, the lady is looking like a puddle of colors as if Walt Disney chewed up all his characters and spit them at her.

It was starting to hurt too many senses and after about 5 minutes I couldn't take it anymore. I noticed the buffering was advanced enough to allow me to advance in painful chunks of time/ video. Each time the video would begin replaying it was as if a time warp of de-evolution was occurring before me. By the time I got to the end I was dizzy with disbelief. I wanted somebody else to suffer with me but nobody was here. I thought maybe to forward the url to my address book with a heading of "Best video I have seen in a long time." I didn't though because I didn't want to give your site the stigma of this video. I completely understand you were doing what you could to provide us with entertainment. It is not in your control of what keywords will trigger what video. But man.

I would have liked to have sat with you and had a coffee of whatever over this one. It was twelve minutes of sadistic monologue. The kind that makes dentistry without Novocain relatively painless. I thought about screen shotting the final shot of her with her proud smile hidden inside a spackle job of cosmetics, but I figured you are probably a good guy and didn't do this on purpose. But man. I may not be able to sleep tonight.

Schamp, thanks for the entertaining comment, probably much more entertaining than the video you sat through. I am sorry for your suffering.

Like you mentioned, it's supposed to be smart enough to know the context of the website and play videos based on that context, but I haven't seen it play a prospecting video yet... Gold prospecting and marigold eye makeup, sheesh! Have you checked out www.prospectingchannel.com?

Enjoy your site, but could not find a good prospecting video. However, I will continue to check back for new ones. Wishing you color in your pan.
